Client Feedback

"Kate was able to create the trailer for Love Letters Straight From Your Heart quickly and to a very high standard. She took time to understand the artistic values of the company and was sympathetic in her approach to the film to ensure that these values and the feel of the show were translated into the final product. We are delighted with the finished trailer." Rosalind Wynn, Fuel Theatre

"I first encountered Kate when she came highly recommended by a colleague. From the outset I found Kate to be extremely personable, well organized and thorough in her approach. Throughout the filming Kate was discreet and professional, working with her colleague to draw out a great range of responses from the participants and the audience, capturing the mood perfectly." Alex Julyan, Curator & Artist

"Working with Kate was a recommendation that I will from now on pass on to others as well. Kate displayed a very specific knowledge of documenting live performance work. Her smile and focus took away the nerves of being filmed. As to the result, I am delighted." Chris Dugrenier, Performance Artist

"Absolutely fantastic. Well done. Thanks." Richard Dufty, Uninvited Guests

"Thanks Kate, brilliant work." Christina Elliot, Uninvited Guests

"Think it looks great. Well done Kate." Paul Clarke, Uninvited Guests

Through My Own Eyes: a YAYW8 / Arnolfini Gallery Commission (40 mins)

I have completed an inter-generational film-making project exploring themes of autobiography, aging and identity. Four individuals (3 teenagers and 1 senior citizen) were invited to explore how they would like to represent themselves and their own life through film.

This project was co-commissioned by the Arnolfini Gallery and Bristol based art platform You and Your Work 8 Festival and was produced between September - November 2010. The resulting film Through My Own Eyes was screened at the Arnolfini Gallery on 13 November 2010. Keep an eye on my website for details of future screenings.
